Children's Ministry

AWANA meets every Wednesday Night from 6:30pm to 8pm during the school year in the downstairs of the church. The children all participate in the opening where they sing songs, listen to a bible story and participate in other fun activities where they learn about God.  After the opening the children break into their groups and work in their workbooks; Cubbies (Pre-K), Sparks (K thru 2nd) and TNT (3rd thru 5th). When the children are finished working in their books the Sparks & TNT group come together for game time; while the Cubbies play their own game. Children also can earn Awana dollars for a variety of reason throughout the night; for reciting a Bible Verse, finishing a section of their book, or helping out another child or one of the helpers. Then once a month the children can use their Awana dollars to buy prizes at the Awana store. This is a great ministry where kids learn about God and have a ton of fun!

During our Sunday morning worship, we provide Jericho Junction, a children's ministry using puppets, games, worship, and much more. This is currently offered every other week and Children's Church meets each other sunday.

Each summer we also provide Vacation Bible School for the children ages 4 through 5th grade completed (who will be starting the 6th grade in the fall).

We believe that children's ministry in a church should be much more than a babysitting service. We need to start now at teaching children about the love Christ has for them.

We want you to know that we also take your child's safety very seriously. We are aware that there are predators inside and outside the church. Therefore, every adult who works with your child has already undergone a thorough background check.
